What You'll Like

Compared to Buicks of the past, the 2011 LaCrosse has both style and attitude, with a curvy, bold look and advanced interior design. Ride, handling and overall refinement are now up to world-class standard. And from behind the wheel, the LaCrosse now stands on the same ground, in terms of features and the driving experience, as many luxury-brand cars, yet it costs thousands less. CX models start well below $30,000, but CXS models loaded to the brim with tech features land above the $40k mark.

What's New for 2011

Following a complete redesign in 2010, the LaCrosse returns for 2011 with few major changes. The mid-level 3.0 V6 has been dropped from the line in favor of a 2.4L inline four, which features direct injection. The range-topping 3.6L V6 returns unchanged. Paddle shifters have been added as standard on all models, and a new electric variable ratio power steering system is standard on CX and CXL front-wheel drive models. The CX gets a new tire repair kit as well.
